Buying a home is a journey full of twists and turns. Our BDL Housing Loan will make it less challenging by providing you with the loan conditions that best fit your needs.

Features

  • Amount (Minimum/Maximum): Between LBP 100 Million and LBP 1.2 Billion
  • Loan amount: Up to 75% of the value of your new home
  • Repayment period/tenor: Between 7 and 30 years
  • Interest: Average deposit rate with BDL minus 3.75% (Currently 4.75%) (under BDL 485)
  • Currency: LBP
  • File Fees: LBP 300,000
  • Expert Fees: LBP 300,000
  • Grace period: 6 months
  • Requires the approval of the Central Bank

Eligibility

  • Minimum salary: LBP 4,125,000 if self-employed
  • Minimum salary: LBP 3,000,000 if employee
  • Minimum of two years of employment at the same company
  • Age between 21 and 64 years old (last settlement of loan)
  • Lebanese citizen for at least 10 years residing in Lebanon
  • NSSF registered
  • The apartment will be the client’s primary residence
  • Clean judicial record

Collaterals/Support Accepted to BCN

  • Salary domiciliation
  • Personal guarantee wherever needed
  • Real estate mortgage on the apartment itself
  • Life and PTD insurance assigned to BCN during the lifetime of the loan
  • Fire and allied perils insurance on the apartment assigned to BCN during the lifetime of the loan
  • The Retail Committee has the right to ask for any other collateral as per the credit profile of client

With BCN’s Housing Loan in partnership with the Public Corporation for Housing (PCH), you can benefit from a low interest and attractive features to buy the home you have always wanted.


Features

  • Maximum loan limit is LBP 270 Million
  • Client pays the principal to the bank during the first half of the loan period, and the interest in the second half to PCH directly
  • Down payment: 20%
  • Interest: 40% of 1 year treasury bills = 3.3% (floor N/A)
  • Currency: LBP
  • Fiscal stamps, registration fees, and mortgage fees are waived on these applications
  • File Fees: 1 per mil
  • Expert Fees: LBP 300,000

Eligibility

  • Income should not exceed LBP 6,750,000
  • Area of apartment should not exceed 200sqm including balconies
  • Client should not own another house in a peripheral area of 25 km
  • The apartment will be the client’s primary residence
  • Client should settle 75% of the loan before the age of 64 years
  • Seller should not be a direct family member of the buyer
  • Lebanese citizen for at least 10 years residing in Lebanon
  • NSSF registered
  • Minimum of two years of employment at the same company
  • Requires the approval of PCH
  • Clean judicial record

  • Minimum income of USD 800 or C/V in LBP
  • Minimum of two years of employment at the same company

  • Lebanese citizen for at least 10 years residing in Lebanon or has applied for Lebanese nationality
  • Living abroad for the last 5 years at least
  • Proof of residence abroad
  • NSSF registered
  • The apartment will be the client’s primary residence
  • Requires the approval of the Central Bank
  • Clean judicial record

Collaterals/Support Accepted to BCN

  • Domiciliation of monthly bill from borrower’s bank
  • Personal guarantee wherever needed
  • Real estate mortgage on the apartment itself
  • Life and PTD insurance assigned to BCN during the lifetime of the loan
  • Fire and allied perils insurance on the apartment assigned to BCN during the lifetime of the loan
  • The Retail Committee has the right to ask for any other collateral as per the credit profile of client
