BDL Educational Loan
Overview
To make university studies accessible for everyone, BCN partnered with Banque du Liban to offer school graduates the opportunity to fulfill their educational ambitions through a flexible loan tailored to their needs.
Features
- Amount : Between LBP 5,000,000 and LBP 75,000,000
- Repayment period: Up to 10 years starting one year from the student’s graduation date
- Interest: Currently 3.00%
- Currency: LBP
- No File Fees
- Grace period: All university years + 1 year after graduation
Eligibility
- University acceptance whether undergraduate or graduate studies in Lebanon or abroad
- Lebanese citizen for at least 10 years
- Age between 18 and 64 years old (last settlement of loan)
- Requires the approval of the Central Bank
- Clean judicial record of borrower and guarantor
Collaterals/Support Accepted to BCN
- Personal guarantee wherever needed
- Real estate mortgage on a case by case basis
- Life and PTD insurance assigned to BCN during the lifetime of the loan from borrower and guarantor
- The Retail Committee has the right to ask for any other collateral as per the credit profile of client
