History

Established in 1929 as Banque Jacob E. Safra, Banque de Crédit National S.A.L., which acquired its current name in 1956, will soon be marking a century of history and uninterrupted operations in the Lebanese banking sector. Capital increase of LBP 12.5 billion

In the 1st quarter of 2019, a new group of investors acquired a controlling majority in BCN with the objective of growing the Business in a new direction. The acquisition will be followed by a capital increase in 2019.
